The past few years have been very difficult ones and we recognize that many of you are excited about the upcoming easing of restrictions. We are looking forward to the time when we can see each of you face-to-face, unmasked, in the office. However, we are a healthcare facility. Therefore, for everyone’s safety, it is important that all our staff and anyone coming into the clinic continue to wear masks.

The office is closed on statutory holidays

The office will be closed New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, August Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Boxing Day.

Important Announcement

More ONLINE BOOKING will be available to patients. Each doctor will reserve appointments for specific issues/short visits. Scheduling for concerns that require more time, such as physicals, first obstetrical visits, talks and counselling, will continue to be made by phone or email through our secretaries.

We are also starting SECURE MESSAGING to ensure privacy with our email communications. We wish to keep you updated and informed.

In order for you to book online and receive emails, you need to register on MEDEO. You will receive a message from Medeo asking you to create a personal password. It is important that you do this. Medeo is integrated into our electronic medical record system and will help to improve our contact with you. Also, please remember to always update the office with any changes to your Health Card, address, phone #, email address and pharmacy information.

Important Notes to Remember

We have become a Family Health Organization (FHO).The FHO is designed to improve your accessibility to your primary care provider for urgent concerns and avoid unnecessary use of walk-in clinics or the Emergency Department. Because your health record is with us, this ensures better care. Changes include:

  • Same day time slots are available for you to get an appointment for urgent concerns. We recommend calling or emailing earlier in the day to access one of these appointments.
  • Hours of availability extended with our After-Hours Clinic, by appointment only, for patients of our clinic and the Watson Medical Clinic (561 Eglinton Ave. West). To schedule an appointment for an urgent concern, call 416-907-8184 during the first 2 hours that the After-Hours Clinic is open (5-8pm: Mondays-Thursdays and 9am-12pm: Saturdays or Sundays). Please leave a message and you will receive a call back informing you of the time and location for your appointment.
  • Before booking in the After-Hours clinic, try to book an appointment with your doctor first.
  • Non-urgent/elective visits such as physicals may now take longer to book. However, this does not affect timely visits for appointments such as well-baby or obstetrical visits.

On days when the office is closed and when there is no clinic available, call 811 to contact a registered nurse at Health811(previously known as Health Connect Ontario, which replaced Telehealth Ontario). This service is available 24 hours/7 days a week and is free. The nurse will advise you on next steps. IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
